Who was Helen Keller - By Leslie Garrett

The book, Helen Keller: A Photographic Story of a Life, by Leslie Garrett is about the life of Helen Keller and what she came to be. She was born with her senses of seeing and hearing but at a young age, she was diagnosed with an illness that left her blind and deaf believed to be called scarlet fever. But she overcame her obstacles in life and was still able to succeed even though she was deaf and blind. That didn't mean that was going to stop her. She became an author and lecturer for the handicapped. She wanted to help others that were also blind and deaf. She has become one of the most influential people in life.

I really learned a lot about this book, how someone even though in life, at moments it can be hard, people could still pass through their obstacles and never give up. I also learned how one person can change how we see life through positivity. Overall, I liked this book and got to learn more things about Helen Keller's personal life. It was very interesting how she never gave up and was a happy women even though she was blind and deaf. I would suggest people to read this book, it is such an inspiring book.
